In June 2016, iDebate’s Disenfranchised Voices programme enabled 150 young people to debate at the Palace of Westminster. The debate education programme ( for young people aged 14-24yrs from schools and F.E Colleges in London) culminated in a fierce debate around the EU Referendum.
We are now organising a new debate in the Houses of Parliament on the evening of April 26th 2017 which will see students debate lowering the voting age to 16 in front of an audience of politicians, policy makers and dignitaries.
If you would love your students to be a part of this opportunity to learn new skills and experience a parliament youth debate, then please email Bien firstname.lastname@example.org.
All young people will be provided with training in debating, critical thinking and public speaking skills over the coming months via our World Debate Club programme which runs every Wednesday.
